Star Diamond Sees Shake-Up in Top Management
Star Diamond has appointed Ewan Mason as interim CEO following the retirement of Ken MacNeill.
Mason, who has been a director of the Canada-based miner since 2017, also serves as chairman of its board, Star Diamond said Wednesday. He was previously managing director at several investment banks and has held the position of director and chair for a number of mining and exploration companies, Star Diamond noted.

Meanwhile, Greg Shyluk, who has been chief financial officer since 2013, will leave the company. The miner’s board of directors is working to assess Star Diamond’s cost and management structure moving forward, it explained.
MacNeill will officially exit his position and hand over to Mason on December 31.
